For approximately 18 months (from March 2025), Imam has been doing independent applied AI research on how probabilistic models become reliable systems. Central conclusion: a model is not a product. A model predicts. A product has to decide what to do with that prediction.

Notable work includes QuoteSnap AI (AI interprets, software prices), language-model internals, and studies of Cursor, Bolt, and Decide folded into numbered experiments. Findings live on experiment and system pages, not as standalone essays.

The lab contains deterministic browser experiments connected to that research: context packing (EXP-002, EXP-009), memory versus history (EXP-003, EXP-011), the AI/software boundary behind QuoteSnap (EXP-001, EXP-010), and a recorded agent execution trace (EXP-005).
